E-Cigarette’s or “vapes” are portrayed as being more healthy for you than regular cigarettes because there’s no tar and you often hear people describing them as being “just water” which is quite incorrect because the vapourised fluids while becoming steam also contain purer versions of the drugs, while this might remove the risks associated with regular smoking this doesn’t necessarily make them safe as cigarettes and even uranium toothpaste were once deemed safe until years of use show the side effects and these products may have long term downsides, because inhaling steam could be damaging your insides in very different ways that are equally damaging to your long term health.
Since publishing this video some changes have been made to laws where drugs in the UK seem to be progressing towards being illegal at base before being legalised which is a step in the right direction towards safety as “legal highs” in the UK were often slight chemical differences to very dangerous substances, and perhaps more dangerous than their illegal countertypes only chemically changed to make them no longer illegal and unclassified, and this loophole allowed the market to be flooded with dangerous substances for sale on the high street and people believing them to be safe as they were marketed as being legal, and the assumption that being legal meant them to be safe or even safer than dangerous class A drugs they were based upon.
THC and the active substance in weed does seem to be branching towards legalisation in a lot of the world, and there are many products like oils where in small doses can be legal and help certain medical conditions yet the country still refuses to allow legalisation even in terms of prescription medication. I do believe however the vape market is missing a trick that they don’t have vapourised safe levels of illicit substances, of course when the law was on the side of things being legal until deemed illegal this would have been easier, however I do believe that in small enough doses for safe levels weed vapes would be a very popular product with the smell and the effects being pleasant for a lot of people and very lucrative which is why I’m surprised you don’t really see it anywhere, they could even have different flavoured versions of this and make a lot of money very easily off this, even if an intrepid drug dealer decided to corner the market and begin producing this.
I remain sceptical that vapour pens are as safe and clean as they are portrayed, and maybe they’re less hazardous than regular cigarettes and offer an alternative but it’s hard to say, and inhaling large enough levels of steam to create the exhalation that you see often from people who use vapes and even try to make vape shapes with their breath must have some effect on your insides, I can’t imagine having that much steam in your lungs on a regular basis can’t be bad for you.
